• Payment information (processed securely by Square — we never store card details)
• Flight number (when provided for airport transfers)
• Device location (GPS) — only when you use our live tracking features

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and manage your ride bookings
• Connect you with your assigned driver
• Send booking confirmations and updates via email
• Enable real-time driver tracking and ETA calculation
• Track flight status for airport transfer adjustments
• Process payments securely through Square
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Improve our services and app experience

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Drivers: Your name, pickup address, and phone number are shared with your assigned driver to complete your trip

4. Location Data

Our app requests access to your device's location (GPS) to enable real-time driver tracking and accurate pickup coordination. Location data is only collected when you actively use the app and is not stored beyond your active trip session. You may disable location access in your device settings, though this will limit certain features.

5. Payment Information

All payments are processed securely by Square, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. SyncDrive ATL does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or billing information. Square handles all payment data in accordance with their privacy policy and security standards.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure, encrypted database storage via Supabase
• Row-level security ensuring users can only access their own data
• Password hashing — we never store plain-text passwords

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at syncdriveatl@gmail.com. Booking records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance.

You have the right to:

9. Children's Privacy

With your permission, we may send push notifications to your device regarding your bookings, driver assignments, and trip updates. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
